PRIME MINISTER ON WORKING VISIT TO MEDEA
MEDEA (Algeria)- The next tripartite meeting (government-union-employers) is scheduled for October 10, 2013, Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal announced Monday in Medea (91km west of Algiers).
This statement was made during the Prime Minister’s working visit to the province of Medea on Monday.
The meeting will be an opportunity to draw up a strategy aiming at boosting the industrial and agricultural development, he explained during a meeting held with representatives of the civil society of Medea.
“We decided to hold the next tripartite on October 10th. We’ll develop a strategy to further boost the national economy, an economy which should be based on the creation of public, private and semipublic industrial companies,” he said.
He also explained that “the only solution today is to go into competition and develop the industrial and agricultural production,” adding that Algeria “has lagged far behind in these areas comparing to the 70s.”
