Algeria-Turkey: Several areas of cooperation identified

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal has enumerated several areas of cooperation between Algeria and Turkey during the Algerian-Turkish Business Forum on Tuesday in Algiers.

The sectors of energy and mining, industry, agriculture and tourism can constitute eligible areas for a mutually beneficial cooperation for the two countries," the Prime minister said during the Forum, which was attended by his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is on a two-day official visit to Algeria.

In this regard, Sellal also cited the sectors of health and new information and communication technologies.

The premier expressed "great satisfaction" at the volume of trading between the two countries, currently exceeding US$5 billion, as they "have almost increased fivefold over the past decade."
