Algerian-Chinese economic ties to make qualitative leap, says Bouchouareb

 

ALGIERS- Minister of Industry and Mines Abdesselam Bouchouareb said Saturday the economic relations between Algeria and China will be given a fresh impetus, mainly in the industrial field.

Bouchouareb, following a meeting with Chinese minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng who is on a working visit to Algeria, said economic relations between the two countries will make a "qualitative leap" through several partnership projects, especially in industry, mines and training.

The visit Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal is to pay to Beijing, China, in three weeks, will "be beneficial to both countries," the minister said.

The Chinese minister, for his part, said bilateral relations between Algeria and China are not limited to trade.

 

Cooperation has been boosted in industry, mining, building of infrastructures and training of human resources.
